February 8, 2019 – The U.P. Hospice Foundation provided over $25,000 to the Trillium House in 2018 in support of residents who chose U.P. Home Health & Hospice, their affiliated program. Funds were used to help support the patients rent costs in the home along with other services such as Virtual Reality programming, nutritional supplements, supplies and a variety of other programs. In this photo, Jeremy Hansen, board member for the U.P. Hospice Foundation, presents Dr. Aaron Scholnik, Trillium House Board President with a ceremonial check.
January 10, 2019 – Our donors continue to amaze us in so many ways. Trillium House recently received an activity center filled with a large variety of books, puzzles, games and small items including coloring books, tablets, pens and markers. Residents and their families have enjoyed this great addition including some binoculars for wildlife viewing. A recent addition to our kitchen is a marvelous slow cooker which has been wonderful for the staff and families. We are so thankful to our donors who are always thinking of new ideas to truly make Trillium House a home for all of us. Our Wish List was recently update for the New Year. Please check it out to see how you can help. Thanks again.
December 23, 2018 – Trillium House was honored to be included this year in the donations provided annually to our community by the great folks at Select Realty. They have a long standing commitment to giving back to their community and many organizations benefit from their charitable donations and hard work each year! Thanks to everyone at Select Realty for recognizing Trillium this year.
December 20, 2019 – Pattie Anderson and Erin Hollister from the Holiday Inn’s banquet office stopped by with a wonderful donation of food for Trillium House. This year, the Holiday Inn shared this gift with many local non-profit organizations instead of providing holiday gifts to their corporate partners and clients. What a wonderful and welcome idea! Pictured with Pattie and Erin are our Trillium House Manager, Alicia Burgess and Trillium House Executive Director, Pat Bray. Thanks again to our friends at Holiday Inn Marquette.
December 12, 2018 – Many thanks to the great staff from VAST who made a donation in honor of Chris VanAbel and Scott White as their gift this holiday season. VAST was one of the first supporters of the drive to build the Trillium House and continues their generous support in a number of ways. Thanks again to our friends at Vast! Happy Holidays to all of you. www.vastsolutions.com
